Activ proceeded into full swing at the 2009 annual conference in Leicestershire just a few days ago. The Hilton Hotel was brimming with Activ entrepreneurs who had travelled from all over the country to be there – some had even stayed overnight!
Yes, the 11th December was a much anticipated day as Activ were revealing the companies success, setting the scene for what Activ will be doing in the year 2010 and celebrating the success of a diverse and very talented team of entrepreneurs spanning across the United Kingdom.
The conference kicked off at 9.30am with refreshments and then led on to recap of 2009, where Directors Simon Rickett and Dillon Boivin reminded everyone of just how far the company had come. To hear how fast the company had grown in the short space of only eighteen months created an instant buzz in the air. Having been founded by a team of just three people, the company has grown to now having an experienced team of 21 professionals. Through very determined efforts Activ has achieved global expansion, been short-listed for the Nectar Small Business Award 2009, has hundreds of thousands of people seeing the brand online each month and has helped many businesses and entrepreneurs to earn thousands of pounds.
The day was packed full of networking opportunities and group activities with both Company Directors even putting on a Christmas Panto!. After a Christmas themed lunch the celebrations were under way with Activ entrepreneurs being awarded prizes for their successful sales and marketing performance. Director, Dillon Boivin added “We are absolutely delighted with how well these individuals have done, they have always shown enthusiasm and always come back to learn more. By following our advice and showing complete dedication they have been able to drive their businesses forward”.
